Sarah (Tamme 276 x Tsjalling 235 PREF) our 20 year old matriarch ~ has reached PREFERENT and is now on her way to DOUBLE PREFERENT!!! We have 3 embryo transfer foals coming from Sarah in 2009!!!! FRIDSE 423 earns the Sport Predicate! Our filly Alexandra de Feys out of FRIDSE 423 made 1ST PREMIE GRAND CHAMPION FILLY at the 2008 inspections at Iron Spring Farm out of 12 nice fillies!!! She is going to be quite the steal~ Congrats to the other Fridse offspring that have been presented thier were other 1st premies awarded throughout the country!! Click Here Nov. 22-23 - Dressage Show at Morven Park Leesburg, VA News Open House We would like to thank everyone who came out to see us at the Fall Open House here 11-08-08. We couldn't of asked for a more beautiful day. We started the morning off with some of Fridse's foals at liberty, than were pleased to have Kathy Curtis join us from VA with her gelding Nylis for a beautiful musical freestyle with costume! Later on Julio showed Fridse in Driving cantering in and out of cones, doing flying changes and even piaffe under the cart! We then showed Fridse's 2008 1st Premie Grand Champion Filly Alexandra de Feys at liberty. Later on we did the Traditional Trot Races that dates back to the 1800's when they used to race the Friesians at a trot in the streets bareback, hoping to win money and even a golden whip from the King. Julio then showed Lieke and Mirke two Ster mares doing Tandem Driving. After this we offered Friesian "pony" rides and carriage rides to those who wanted to experience them up close. To finish off the day Julio showed Fridse in a Musical Freestyle and long-lined Siep van Phidor a Ster stallion by Doaitsen. It was truly a wonderful day, and it was great to be able to meet new people and see familiar faces. Bascule's Jumper Show went great! Mandy Harrah took Hinter to Reserve Champion in thier class of 12. The class consisted of Warmbloods, Tb's, Arabs, etc. Hinter was the only pony but he sure showed them all he can jump! Mandy and Hinter did great, it was his first time at a jumping show!! We had a great time presenting our stallions Hilbert & Hinter at the 2007 Horse World Expo in Timonium, MD.
